Ruby is a vintage singer originally from Florida but now based in South East London. The proud daughter of a WWII Veteran, her love of vintage fashion and music of the 40s and 50s started at a young age. Ruby’s passion for this era of music comes alive on stage in a powerfully electric performance.

Chris Thorn guitar
Chris formed Ruby and the Dukes back in 2015 living in London since 1990 playing and recording with various bands and artists.With over 30 years of guitar-playing under his belt he made his professional debut on London’s live acid jazz scene in the 90’s. His subsequent CV features 10 years with the JazzHearts and sessions with the eclectic Mint Royale, plus countless tours and live appearances that range from Glastonbury (1997) and The Jazz Café to playing and recording at Ronnie Scotts - in the band dubbed the “Supergroup” by The Times - for the 2001 live album “The Way it Feels”.
